加拿大物理奧林匹克（CAP High School Prize Exam）是由加拿大物理領域的權威——加拿大物理學家協會(hui) （CAP）聯合UBC英屬哥倫(lun) 比亞(ya) 大學物理和天文係共同舉(ju) 辦，是加拿大最高水平的高中生物理競賽。
CAP還有一個(ge) 角色是加拿大物理國家隊的第一輪選拔活動，每年CAP會(hui) 選擇5名優(you) 勝者，代表加拿大參加IPhO國際物理奧林匹克競賽。因此，該競賽的成績在加拿大以及北美名校的認可度非常高，如果有CAP獲獎背景，那麽(me) 被加拿大及北美名校錄取的幾率會(hui) 大幅提升。
與(yu) 物理碗Physics Bowl相比，兩(liang) 個(ge) 比賽難度相當，物理碗和CAP都會(hui) 用到大學的知識，對數學水平都有一定的要求，尤其是微積分。但物理碗考察更多的是對物理的熟悉度以及解題速度，而CAP則考察的是對知識的深度。
另外，物理碗要求學生在45分鍾之內(nei) 解決(jue) 40道選擇題，難度不大但知識點細，需要快速進行解題。而CAP則需要考試在三個(ge) 小時內(nei) 完成一定量的選擇題和大題，跟中國的奧林匹克競賽非常類似。
