新加坡數學競賽（Singapore Math Challenge, SMC）是由新加坡國際數學競賽中心（Singapore International Math Contests Centre, SIMCC）組織的一項全國性和國際性數學競賽，是為(wei) 學生提供一個(ge) 具有挑戰性的平台，以衡量學生的技能，持續使用國際基準來提升其學術價(jia) 值，也是檢驗數學學習(xi) 成果的最佳實踐方法。

SMC在國際數學競賽領域具有很高的知名度，其嚴(yan) 格的賽製和高水平的題目設計，得到了國際數學教育界的廣泛認可，每年吸引亞(ya) 洲各國以及世界各國學生參與(yu) 。一

競賽基本信息

日期：2024年9月15日周日

時間：

18:00-19:30（新西蘭(lan) 時間）

14:00-15:30（新加坡、中國、澳洲Perth）

16:00-17:30（澳洲墨爾本、悉尼）

15:30-17:00（澳洲阿德萊得）

7:00-8:30（英國倫(lun) 敦）

地點：

在家網上係統完成（無需打印，無需上傳(chuan) ）

考試時間：90分鍾

報名截止時間：9月8日21:00（以收到報名費為(wei) 準）

二、為(wei) 什麽(me) 參加SMC？

展示才華和鞏固知識的平台

SMC不僅(jin) 提供展示才華的機會(hui) ，還通過競賽準備，幫助學生複習(xi) 和鞏固數學知識。其題目具有亞(ya) 洲數學的特點，適合不同國家的學生，拓寬他們(men) 的視野。

新加坡與(yu) 新西蘭(lan) 學生表現的對比

新加坡學生在國際數學與(yu) 科學研究（TIMSS）和國際學生評估計劃（PISA）等全球基準調查中常年名列前茅，而新西蘭(lan) 的排名則不斷下滑。

這些調查主要評估學生在小學四年級和初中二年級（八年級）的數學和科學理解、應用和推理能力。這些權威性的認可源自新加坡中小學教育紮實的數學基礎。不論身處哪個(ge) 國家，參加新加坡數學競賽都可以幫助學生評估自己的學習(xi) 水平，及時調整學習(xi) 計劃，更容易實現理想目標。

比賽時間安排與(yu) 全球總決(jue) 賽

SMC每年分兩(liang) 次舉(ju) 辦。第一輪比賽在8月至9月，來自40多個(ge) 國家的學生參與(yu) 。

今年澳新賽區初賽定於(yu) 9月15日。優(you) 勝者將受邀參加次年3月2日的全球總決(jue) 賽（SMGF），展示新加坡學生在PISA中的頂尖水平，參賽者根據個(ge) 人得分排名，確定全球頂尖數學選手。
