UCL開設全新文創傳媒學院School for the Creative and Cultural Industries！

繼去年開了健康商學院後，UCL 今年開始著手填補傳(chuan) 媒領域的空白，開設新學院 School for the Creative and Cultural Industries目前新學院的官網已經上線，https://www.ucl.ac.uk/ucl-east/study-and-research/school-creative-and-cultural-industries

我趁熱研究了一下，感覺動作還是挺大的。首先，創立目的，為(wei) 文化創意產(chan) 業(ye) ，培養(yang) 新一代的人才。

UCL’s new School for Creative and Cultural Industries will support and develop the next generation of practitioners to work across the cultural and creative sectors, and more widely for careers where creativity and critical thinking are valued.

第二，全新硬件。配有自己的電影院，各種投影儀(yi) ，媒體(ti) 藝術實驗室，以及策展、口述史相關(guan) 設備。

Our brand-new facilities in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park School will include a 160-seater surround-sound cinema with Digital Cinematic Projection, 16mm and 35mm projectors, media and art conservation labs, a new space for curating collections, and specialist archival and recording technology to support oral history projects.

第三，將新開各種專(zhuan) 業(ye) ，涵蓋藝術與(yu) 科技，創意實踐、媒體(ti) 與(yu) 電影、文化保護、遺跡和公共曆史、創意創業(ye) 六大領域。而且，非常罕見的是，UCL 這次開設的項目，將有很強的實踐性（a range of new and exciting practice-based degrees in the arts, humanities and social sciences. ）

雖然具體(ti) 項目還沒有上線，但是總算打破了 UCL 隻有 Flim Studies 和 Digital Media Education 可申請的尷尬局麵。 關(guan) 注公眾(zhong) 號，我將持續跟蹤 UCL 今年的新驚喜。

改天研究一下 School Leader 的 Iris，寫(xie) 點申請建議。

P.S 有的同學可能擔心 UCL 新政隻能申請兩(liang) 個(ge) 專(zhuan) 業(ye) ，選擇空間太小了。其實不用擔心，如果你兩(liang) 個(ge) 申請都被拒了的話，是可以繼續申請的，而且完全可以拿到錄取（最近就有案例證明），所以，盡管準備好申請費吧！
