首先來看機器人對人類未來發展的好處。

Since the term 'robot' was coined in the middle of the last century, the development of artificial intelligence has experienced dramatic changes. In recent years, with the advances in related technologies, it is believed that robots will exert enormous influence on human life, even threatening human survival.

On the one hand, the proponents of robot contribution believe that intelligent machines are indispensable components to space exploration which will usher human beings to the future development. For example, landing on the moon was the milestone which extended antenna of human beings into outer space for the first time, which was completed by a variety of machines. Furthermore, the breakthrough in scientific technology will make it possible that human beings will eventually colonize Mars.

On the other hand, robots are stealing some jobs from human workers. Nowadays, the production lines in modern factories have been almost occupied by mechanical arms. Companies have introduced a large number of automatic machines to replace labor workers so as to reduce costs. Other kinds of workers, such as accountants and cashiers will lose their jobs in the future. Human beings are facing unprecedented challenges and crises. Given the speed of evolution, robots will think as human beings and become smarter and stronger. If thoughts and behaviors of robots are out of control, the doomsday will come and human beings are not able to counter this trend.

My view is that it is important for human beings to prepare themselves for future challenges. The development of robots has been far beyond the wildest imagination of human beings. Therefore, how to rein in this situation is one of the crucial tasks for us.
