In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of governmental officials who are in their thirties or even twenties. Some individuals have negative thoughts regarding this concern, but I believe that bright young people should be allowed the opportunity to hold important government positions.
Young government employees are typically undervalued for several reasons. First, problem-solving and decision-making are abilities that can only be acquired via years of experience. Young people are often considered less sophisticated than their predecessors, who have dealt with people and issues for years. Due to this, young officials cannot respond adequately to emergency situations. Most people believe that older people are typically more competent, trustworthy, and able to provide sound guidance. In cases requiring the implementation of a policy, the public is more likely to accept and believe the opinions of recognised individuals than those of younger government officials.
However, young people must be given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills while dealing with government concerns, as age is merely a trait rather than a barrier. Conversely, younger authorities possess characteristics that older authorities lack. Youth are more imaginative, better at assimilating new concepts, and are rapid learners. In a world where new concepts, objects, and technologies such as 5G and new media emerge every day, the capacity to adapt and keep up is more crucial than ever. Additionally, a certain number of the younger generation in leadership posts can improve the government's structure and policymaking reach. A balanced age structure will promote a seamless transition when top officials approach retirement. The younger generation must be represented at the level of decision-making. If diverse opinions and interests are acknowledged, government policies will be more inclusive and compassionate, which will help society grow.
In conclusion, the government does require some experienced and influential experts, but I still think it's a good idea for younger people to work for the government because it's their abilities that count, not their age.
