A definition of "traditional ideas" may be required before deciding whether or not young people's rejection of traditional ways of living is justified.

Those who have witnessed the wide disparity between traditional living concepts and the modern way of life may believe that the traditional, conservative way of life cannot keep up with the modern world's ever-changing paces. Let us take a quick look at the contemporary experiences of the younger generation: Information is shared over the internet and incorporated by many apps on electronic devices, making it easier for everyone to connect and socialise with others regardless of location; almost every basic need—services, consumer products, etc.—can be met via online trade. All of these possibilities were impossible a decade ago; if outmoded views were founded on what we experienced in the past, it would be evident how pointless they are in the present day.

Others would argue that the mindset described in the preceding paragraph is relatively irresponsible and often the most awful of all; it hinders young people from pondering what makes modern life so convenient and from recognising the potential that exists. Certain information from the past may appear invalid in our modern society, but this does not mean that ideologies and thinking systems are ineffective to influence the lives of the following generation.  The ancient Greek philosophical system, for example, appears distant from where we live but contains the roots of nearly all disciplines that have proven to be extremely beneficial to our modern lives.Who is to say that everything we have now—every beautiful feature that amazes us today—does not derive from the classic theories and magnificent concepts that the previous generation conceived? And, as inquisitive and logical beings, did we not base our current perception of the world on pre-existing cognitive structure?

In conclusion, I believe that settled living conceptions serve an important role in the lives of the younger generation since I share the wisdom of considering everything as a whole and I appreciate classic ideologies for their permanent relevance to life today and in the future.
