（1）具體(ti) 要求比較business和history;

（2）沒有限定children，而是更廣泛的people；

（3）“benefits to society” ，因此要更聚焦討論“對社會(hui) 的好處”。

雙邊討論之後，考生需要就題目問題明確表明自己的觀點了：如果學習(xi) 商科的人比學習(xi) 曆史的人更多，這會(hui) 更有益於(yu) 社會(hui) 嗎？我的答案是肯定的，因為(wei) 一個(ge) 社會(hui) 的穩定，首先是建立在穩固的經濟基礎上的，而更多人學習(xi) 商科，顯然更有利於(yu) 創造一個(ge) 富裕的社會(hui) 。但是，這並不意味著曆史就可以完全被忽視，一個(ge) 穩定的社會(hui) 總是需要有一些人提醒我們(men) 不能忘記曆史。

As far as the society is concerned, I think it is important for people to study both business and history. Subjects related to business tell people how to run a company and how to do international transactions in proper ways, and thus enhance their management competence and the entire business environment of a society. All these will contribute to a society which is more competitive and therefore wealthier. The knowledge of history also benefits the society, albeit in different ways. History is important in that it reminds people in a certain community of their common past, so that they will have a strong sense of belonging, which is definitely conducive to the unity and harmony of the community. That said, I would suggest that the society perhaps need more people who study business than history. As we all know, the stability of a society is always founded upon its prosperity. In other words, the economical strength is the first and foremost condition for an ideal society. To strengthen its economy, a society must provide a favorable business environment to attract more market players, and such an environment can only be created when more people have learned how a market is supposed to operate, which is exactly what the business subject is all about. To conclude, while a society always needs some people to help remember its past, I do agree that more people should get involved in business. It is hard to imagine what a society would look like if it had more historians than business people.
