While it is understandable for a company to prioritize revenue generation, it is equally vital for them acknowledge their societal obligations. I believe these two factors are equally indispensable for any business enterprise.

Entrepreneurs typically launch businesses with the primary goal of generating revenue, which is essential for the survival of the company. In order to sustain their operations, business leaders must therefore stress revenue generation from the outset of their venture. This is because they need to allocate funds for various expenses, such as project costs, workspace rental, share quotas, taxes, employee salaries, and further investments for growth. Insufficient revenue can lead to negative consequences, such as employee attrition or the inability to maintain a workspace due to inadequate funding. Therefore, companies must prioritize meeting customer demands to maximize profits and ensure sustainable development.

In my personal view, it is imperative that businesses acknowledge and embrace their social responsibilities as they form the ethical framework within the organization. Moreover, fulfilling the demands for positive societal development can also be advantageous for the overall prosperity of the business. In addition to maximizing shareholder value, companies should abide by fundamental ethical principles, such as refraining from engaging in practices that could harm the environment or wildlife. Simultaneously, it is crucial that companies actively participate in social initiatives, such as safeguarding endangered animals or undertaking efforts to cleanse polluted water sources, which can enhance their reputation among the public and bolster their overall image, which can prove to be significant for their future growth and investment opportunities.

In conclusion, I agree with the notion that businesses are fundamentally geared towards maximizing profits. Nonetheless, it is also crucial for these enterprises to recognize and fulfill their social responsibilities towards the communities in which they operate.
