如何快人一步理解雅思長難句？

雅思閱讀提高的過程中，對於(yu) 考生們(men) 來說最大的難點就是看不懂詞匯和長難句。文章中遇到生詞，我們(men) 可以結合上下文邏輯關(guan) 係、上下文語境、解釋性語法結構、詞根詞綴等分析法，大致猜出詞匯意思。

但是經常有同學會(hui) 遇到，一句話裏90%以上的詞匯都認識，但是句子無論讀多少遍都讀不懂的情況。其實這正是我們(men) 需要花時間要攻克的問題，隻要解決(jue) 了這個(ge) 問題，再去做閱讀時，便能事半功倍，還能節省不少時間。今天就和學到君一起來看看長難句分析的秘籍吧！

Participants in the online debate argued that our biggest challenge is to address the underlying causes of the agricultural system’s inability to ensure sufficient food for all, and they identified as drivers of this problem our dependency on fossil fuels and unsupportive government policies.

這種由一句話構成的段落在雅思閱讀中是很常見的，對於(yu) 大多數的同學來說，這就是一個(ge) 非常複雜、難理解的長句。而這種長句，讀完了也不知道什麽(me) 意思。所以，我們(men) 需要將其拆解成較短的、好理解的句子。

找出句子主幹，並理解句子主幹意思；

分析從(cong) 句類型和作用；

句子解析

Participants in the online debate argued that our biggest challenge is to address the underlying causes of the agricultural system’s inability to ensure sufficient food for all, and they identified as drivers of this problem our dependency on fossil fuels and unsupportive government policies.

這個(ge) 句子是由一個(ge) 標準句型組成的：

Participants in the online debate argued that …and they identified as …（網上的辯論中的參與(yu) 者們(men) 認為(wei) …和他們(men) …）。這個(ge) 長句子是由兩(liang) 個(ge) 句子構成的，用and 連接。

第一句：Participants in the online debate argued that our biggest challenge is to address the underlying causes of the agricultural system’s inability to ensure sufficient food for all ，

第二句：they identified as drivers of this problem our dependency on fossil fuels and unsupportive government policies.

那麽(me) ，這兩(liang) 個(ge) 句子之間的邏輯關(guan) 係是什麽(me) 樣的呢？因為(wei) and這個(ge) 連接詞，很多人以為(wei) 這是並列句，但仔細閱讀後發現，這樣解釋邏輯是不通的。

要注意到第2句有一個(ge) 代詞：this problem，而代詞指代的事物需要去上一句中尋找，所以這裏 this problem= 前一句中的問題= agricultural system’s inability to ensure sufficient food for all （農(nong) 業(ye) 係統難以保證充足的食物）。

第2句中，they identified as drivers of this problem A and B= they identified XX and YY as drivers of this problem（他們(men) 認為(wei) 這個(ge) 問題的原因是A和B）。

這裏有一個(ge) 倒裝，非倒裝的正常語序應該是they identified our dependency on fossil fuels and unsupportive government policies as drivers of this problem.

因此，這句話的意思應該是：參與(yu) 者們(men) 認為(wei) ：我們(men) 最大的挑戰就在於(yu) 需要理清這個(ge) 問題的潛在原因，這個(ge) 問題的原因就是A和B。分析完了不難看出，這兩(liang) 句話之間是解釋關(guan) 係！

確定主語，去掉多餘(yu) 的修飾成分，剝離出句子主幹，分析短句之間存在的邏輯，就是攻克長難句的關(guan) 鍵。一開始練習(xi) 的時候大家肯定會(hui) 覺得有難度，多多練習(xi) ，自然會(hui) 熟能生巧的！
