哥倫(lun) 比亞(ya) 大學（簡稱“哥大”）是一所坐落於(yu) 美國紐約曼哈頓上城晨邊高地的私立研究型大學，是美洲大學協會(hui) 的12個(ge) 創始校之一以及國家大學體(ti) 育協會(hui) （NCAA）體(ti) 育賽事聯盟常春藤盟校的成員，是紐約州最古老的高等教育學府。目前哥倫(lun) 比亞(ya) 大學共設有20個(ge) 學院，包括4個(ge) 大學部學院以及16個(ge) 研究所學院。哥大的商學院、國際暨公共事務學院、新聞學院、法學院、醫學院和教育學院等研究所及專(zhuan) 業(ye) 學院在國際上享負盛名。
在藤校中，哥倫(lun) 比亞(ya) 大學因地理位置機構、排名靠前、錄取人數相對較多而受到眾(zhong) 多轉學生的青睞。哥倫(lun) 比亞(ya) 大學在本科設置了Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, Barnard College, Jewish Theological Seminary, School of General Studies這5個(ge) 學院，其中轉學生申請最多的學院是除Jewish Theological Seminary之外的4個(ge) 學院，而這4個(ge) 學院對於(yu) 轉學生的要求也不盡相同。
1、Columbia College and Columbia Engineering(哥倫(lun) 比亞(ya) 學院&工程學院)
●申請條件：在入學轉學學校之前要有至少24學分即相當於(yu) 完成了一年的課程；須有高中畢業(ye) 證，否則不能申請該轉學項目。
●這2個(ge) 學院每年計劃錄取轉學生約125名；
●申請係統：Coalition Application on Scoir，不是Common哦~
●申請截止日期：3月1日
● 哥大工程學院Columbia Engineering一般要求學生有以下先修課：2個(ge) 學期的微積分和物理、一個(ge) 學期的化學；
●看重的轉學生的特質：學術準備、好奇心、與(yu) 他人相處的能力、你是什麽(me) 樣的個(ge) 體(ti) 、對哥大的了解；
●對於(yu) 國際生的要求：語言成績（TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo/Cambridge）或SAT (閱讀和寫(xie) 作大於(yu) 700)/ACT (英語或閱讀大於(yu) 29); 第三方麵試（InitialView/Vericant）(optional)
