模擬聯合國，簡稱模聯MUN是對聯合國的仿真學術模擬。

Model United Nations, or MUN for short, is a simulated academic simulation of the United Nations.

“模擬聯合國”是聯合國為(wei) 青年學生們(men) 提供的學術活動，組織世界各國的青年學生們(men) 扮演不同國家的外交官，以模擬聯合國會(hui) 議的全浸入形式，闡釋各自的論點，展開辯論，最終以投票表決(jue) 的方式做出決(jue) 議。

"Model UN is an academic activity offered by the United Nations for young students, in which young students from around the world take on the role of diplomats from different countries, presenting their arguments and debates in a full immersion format of a UN conference, and ultimately voting on resolutions.

01、模擬聯合國的意義(yi)

模擬聯合國活動可以讓學生親(qin) 身體(ti) 驗國際社會(hui) 的縱橫捭闔，從(cong) 多個(ge) 視角看待國際局勢，了解聯合國的運作方式。

Model UN activities allow students to experience first-hand the breadth of the international community, to see the international situation from multiple perspectives, and to understand how the United Nations works.

它可以培養(yang) 學生全球公民的視野，幫助學生了解自己能為(wei) 世界發揮什麽(me) 樣的作用。

It develops a vision of global citizenship and helps students understand what role they can play in the world.

 

02、模聯可以帶來什麽(me)

01 就業(ye) 優(you) 勢

在申請本科，研究生以及之後找工作的時候，模聯獎項一定是加分項。即使沒有獲得獎項，一份可以展現在文書(shu) 及麵試中的獨特的模聯經曆及在模聯中的個(ge) 人成長和收獲也能讓HR和麵試官們(men) 眼前一亮。

Model League awards are a definite plus when applying to undergraduate and graduate school and later when looking for a job. Even if you don't win an award, a unique modeling experience that you can show in your paperwork and interviews, and the personal growth and gains you have made during your modeling experience, can make HR and interviewers look good.

02 技能優(you) 勢

在學習(xi) 模聯的過程中，學生們(men) 要不斷去學習(xi) 各項技能：外語、溝通與(yu) 表達、研究資料的能力、分析能力、批判性思維以及創造力，這些技能在未來的各個(ge) 方麵都是非常重要。

While studying Model League, students are constantly learning skills: foreign language, communication and presentation, research skills, analytical skills, critical thinking, and creativity, all of which are very important in all aspects of their future.

03 國際視野

對於(yu) 學生來說，模聯最重要的是培養(yang) 看待問題的國際視野。成為(wei) 一個(ge) 國家的代表，在國際性會(hui) 議上闡述自己的立場，試圖解決(jue) 問題，每一個(ge) 步驟都是對學生的挑戰。

他們(men) 從(cong) 個(ge) 體(ti) 轉換為(wei) 更具國際視野的“國際代表”，看待問題將更多元、更開闊，從(cong) 而認識不同國家發展中遇到的不同問題及看待問題的不同視角。

The most important thing for students in MLC is to develop an international perspective on issues. Becoming a representative of a country, presenting their position at international conferences, and trying to solve problems challenges students at every step.

They are transformed from individuals to "international delegates" with a more international perspective, and will be able to see issues in a more diverse and open manner, thus recognizing the different problems and perspectives encountered in the development of different countries.

 

03、為(wei) 什麽(me) 要開展模聯？

模擬聯合國在於(yu) 使學生們(men) 對聯合國的運作方式和議事規則有更加深入的了解，同時通過扮演各國外交官、模擬聯合國會(hui) 議流程、討論國際熱點問題的方式。

Model United Nations is designed to give students a deeper understanding of how the United Nations works and its rules of procedure, as well as to play the role of diplomats from various countries, simulate the flow of United Nations meetings, and discuss international hot issues.

同時，模擬聯合國著重於(yu) 培養(yang) 學生們(men) 進行有效演講、有效辯論、有效溝通的能力以及鍛煉參與(yu) 者們(men) 解決(jue) 問題的能力。此外，在模擬聯合國會(hui) 議中，各位代表所代表的國家並非是自己真正所屬的國家，對其他國家政治、經濟、外交政策以及一些具體(ti) 問題的調研，有助於(yu) 增進國家之間的理解以及加強對多元文化的認同及包容性。

At the same time, Model UN focuses on developing students' ability to make effective speeches, debate, communicate effectively, and develop participants' problem-solving skills. In addition, in the Model UN meetings, delegates represent countries other than their own, and researching other countries' politics, economics, foreign policies, and specific issues helps to improve understanding between countries and strengthen multicultural identity and inclusiveness.

 

04、成為(wei) 世界公民的第一步

通過模聯的鍛煉，不斷培養(yang) 高度的社會(hui) 責任感及創新意識，通過係統性戰略思考，通過檢索大量資料，把握世界可持續發展趨勢，更好地探索未來。

In accordance with the formal meeting format of the United Nations, through hands-on experiences such as elaborating views, policy debates, voting and making resolutions, you will become familiar with the way the United Nations operates, focus on international topics and broaden your international perspective.
