馬歇爾學會(hui) 論文競賽（Marshall Society Essay Competition）是由劍橋大學經濟學會(hui) 舉(ju) 辦的，以紀念近代英國最著名的經濟學家、《經濟學原理》著作者、局部均衡分析創始者阿爾弗雷德·馬歇爾（Alfred·Marshall）。

作為(wei) 含金量非常高的經濟類論文競賽之一，馬歇爾學會(hui) 論文競賽受到英美頂尖大學的認可，尤其是對於(yu) 申請經濟專(zhuan) 業(ye) 的同學來說，很多拿到牛劍經濟學相關(guan) 專(zhuan) 業(ye) offer的同學們(men) 都參加過這個(ge) 競賽。

2022馬歇爾學會(hui) 論文競賽參與(yu) 要求

1. 參賽對象

未開始本科課程的學生（包括不在英國上學的學生）

2. 寫(xie) 作注意事項

不要在文章開頭先下定論，而是要在文章中循序漸進地論證你的觀點。

論文引用須遵循APA格式，並在文章末尾列出所有的參考文獻（參考文獻不計入總字數）。

論文字數要求在1000字以內(nei) （往年要求1500字以內(nei) ）。

論文的每一頁都需要標出頁碼，且首頁需要寫(xie) 出所選題目及其序號，以及作者的姓名與(yu) 學校。

提交前需要將文件轉換為(wei) PDF格式，通過官網渠道提交，並將文件命名為(wei) ：姓名+Q（問題序號），例如：Charlie Murphy Q4.pdf

一旦提交，就不能對論文再進行任何修改，參賽作品不得參加任何其他比賽。

3. 截止日期

19 August 2022, 11:59pm BST（比賽結果將於(yu) 9月中旬在馬歇爾學會(hui) 網站上公布）

馬歇爾學會(hui) 論文競賽題解讀

1. Economies are facing soaring inflation rates despite tepid growth, which commentators have attributed to various causes. Discuss what you think the appropriate policies are to address fears of ‘stagflation’.

2. ‘Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has already altered the global economy.’ Discuss.

3. Today’s globalised economy is vulnerable to shocks from multifarious sources. From whence will the next major recession come?

4. What are the likely economic effects of blockchain technology in the next decade?

5. ‘Public goods can be provided by the private sector.’ Discuss.

6. Evaluate an economic policy recently implemented by a country that of your choice and discuss its short- and long-run consequences.
