繼今天公布的Top300之後,在9月底,博通大師賽還會(hui) 開展決(jue) 賽周評比,我們(men) 也會(hui) 持續跟進賽事的最新動向。

博通大師賽

博通大師賽(Broadcom Master)是由美國科學與(yu) 公眾(zhong) 社團和Broadcom基金會(hui) 聯合創辦、麵向6-8年級美國學生的科學賽事。它還是再生元國際與(yu) 工程大賽 ISEF的初中生版

放榜啦!2022博通大師賽Top300揭曉!恭喜獲獎的各位美初學生!

和 ISEF一樣,博通也無法直接參加,學生需要從(cong) 地區賽中脫穎而出,才能拿到前往賽場的門票。

去年共有來自15個(ge) 州、28所學校的1841名學生參賽,他們(men) 通過地區賽的層層挑戰,闖進博通決(jue) 賽的舞台。最高榮譽Rising Star Award的獲得者將有機會(hui) 參觀 ISEF。

賽事時間線

  • 2月1日-6月15日 申請開放
  • 9月7日 Top 300 MASTERS Announced
  • 9月21日 入圍名單公布
  • 10月27日-11月2日 決賽周
  • 10月29日 項目展示

科學、技術、工程、數學。

參賽對象

6-8年級的美國初中生,可單人或≤3人組隊參加。

獎項設置

  • Finalist入圍獎:將獲得獎金,學生和監護人前往決賽的費用由組委全額承擔;
  • Samueli 基金會獎、Lemelson 發明獎、Marconi/Samueli 創新獎、羅伯特伍德約翰遜基金會健康促進獎、DoD STEM 人才獎;
  • 各個類別的第一、第二名將獲得重量級榮譽和高額獎金;
  • Rising Star Award:最高榮譽,獲獎者將參加ISEF並代表美國參加 Broadcom MASTERS 國際項目之旅

博通大師賽鼓勵學生們(men) 完成在傳(chuan) 統實驗室環境之外的研究,從(cong) 生活中找到興(xing) 趣和靈感和 ISEF類似,比起研究的複雜性,博通更注重創新性、社會(hui) 價(jia) 值、以及對學生科研興(xing) 趣的啟蒙。

參加過博通大師賽的學生,往往能更早找到自己的興(xing) 趣所在、鎖定未來的發展方向,這也意味著更早開始的學術規劃、以及更充足的備賽時間。

能入圍博通的決(jue) 賽,無疑是一項遠超同齡人的成就,也是對自己科研潛力和學術能力的有力證明之一。通過博通,學生對同類科研賽事的標準和流程更加熟悉,他們(men) 將有更大的機會(hui) 在ISEF賽場上摘下成就!
