The New York Times,The Economist,The Wall Street Journal
比如有一篇講的是 “Should parents track their children"。
【1】孩子容易覺得自己沒有自由(It takes away from a child’s sense of freedom);
【2】會(hui) 覺得自己沒有隱私而且可能接下來自己其他方麵也會(hui) 被監視(Young people may feel these apps invade their privacy and that the next steps will be parents and guardians monitoring their texts and social media.);
(Parents can become dependent on apps and not learn to trust their children. Children need to have true freedom so that they can learn responsibility.)。
2021 KCT Speaking 006
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Parents should control the access their children have to social media. 2021 KCT Speaking 107
It is the policy of many universities that parents of university students cannot have access to their child's grades without their child's permission. Do you agree or disagree with this policy? Use details and examples to explain your opinion.
比如 "Should your school day start later" 裏麵就有給到兩(liang) 個(ge) 不同立場:
【3】小孩放學做作業(ye) 時間也會(hui) 變晚又或者 "Should idleness be encouraged?"
2021 KCT Speaking 213
Some high schools require students to pass a physical fitness exam, in which they are tested on their ability to perform certain physical activities, such as running and swimming, in order to graduate. Do you think this is a good idea? Explain why or why not. Support your opinion with specific details and examples.
"Should Phys Ed Be an Elective?"
"[觀點] I believe phys ed should be an elective because [理由] when it's mandatory for all students, the class is often too big for anyone to get an effective workout. [展開解釋] Once you subtract the time it takes an entire class of students to get changed into their gym clothes, listen to instructions, and then wait their turn to participate [列舉(ju) ] you have nowhere near a full hour left for exercise. In fact, students are physically active in phys ed for just 16 minutes [具體(ti) 時長]— and that's not counting the kids who don't participate. If phys ed were an elective like art, photograph, or music [比較], only students who wanted to take it would sign up.[總結] Smaller classes of motivated students would mean participants got more time and opportunities to play, and would be more likely to get an actual workout."

you have nowhere near a full hour left for exercise能真的去運動
get an actual workout / get an effective workout
"[觀點] I need phys ed class. [理由] It helps me loosen up during the day and shift my focus away from my schoolwork. Beyond stress release, [理由] physical education classes have a wide range of benefits. [展開benefits] Phys ed is a place to learn skills such as cooperation and teamwork [列舉(ju) ], and boost self-confidence. You also develop your coordination and motor skills. Even if you aren’t exercising for the full recommended 60 minutes, having mandatory physical education class gets you in the habit of making time for exercise each day, so you’ll be more likely to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle in the future. Additionally, [理由] phys ed classes teach students important information about their bodies and nutrition that they might not learn in any other class. [總結] Most students need help establishing healthy habits, and if phys ed were optional, many students would miss out."
