​雅思作文裏表達“所以”有哪些詞匯？

Simon給寫(xie) 作班同學改作業(ye) 的時候。發現不少同學在表示“因此”的時候，會(hui) 用到：“therefore”，“As a result”，“So”， “Hence”，“Thus” 這些詞匯。 幾乎所有考雅思的同學都逃不過這幾個(ge) 表達詞匯。

除了這幾個(ge) 可以表示“結果”的詞匯之外，Simon今天還想給大家補充一個(ge) 好用且高級的表達：

It follow that

這是一個(ge) 非常固定的表達，意思是“由此得出，由此可以推斷出”。可以使用該句式來連接有因果關(guan) 係的上下文。

比如

If we have compassion for the vulnerable, it follows that we will seek justice for them. 

如果我們(men) 對弱勢群體(ti) 富有同情心，那麽(me) 我們(men) 將會(hui) 為(wei) 他們(men) 伸張正義(yi) 。

Increased investment in tertiary education （高等教育） has a positive effect on a country's gross domestic product.(GDP的全稱) In the long term(長期來看）, a society with more educated citizens （受過教育的公民） will be more civilized （更加文明） and innovative（創新）, and even productive （高產(chan) ） and competitive （有競爭(zheng) 力） at all levels （在各個(ge) 層麵）. It flollws that governments should make higher education more available to every student. 

增加高等教育方麵的投資對國民生產(chan) 總值是有積極影響的。長期來看，一個(ge) 社會(hui) 中，公民受教育人數越多，這個(ge) 社會(hui) 則在各層麵上愈加文明，高產(chan) ，創新和富有競爭(zheng) 力。 因此政府應該讓每個(ge) 學生都可以接觸到高等教育。

看到這裏，其實大家已經基本可以理解It follows that的使用方式。 整體(ti) 來說，it follows that 所以強調的邏輯，“由前文內(nei) 容所推斷出來的” 所以不是一個(ge) 強硬的邏輯觀點表達。 所以在語氣上，it follows that 比so，therefore，hence這些詞匯的語氣稍微弱一些。

It follows that 可以單獨使用，但是也可以和so這個(ge) 連詞共同使用

比如：

It was where I grew up, so it follows that it must be a place that at least partly shaped who I am today. 

那是我長大的地方，所以由此這個(ge) 地方至少一定程度上塑造了如今的我。

有的時候也可以和and連用, 與(yu) 上文並列

..., and it follows that there is no scientifically sure way of devising a product against the hangover. 

因此還沒有一種科學上明確的方法可以設計出一款抵抗宿醉的產(chan) 品。

總結一下，it follows that 可以表示“由此，因此” 是一個(ge) 可以單獨成句的結構，也可以借助and，so， and thus，and therefore 等連詞表達，跟隨前一個(ge) 句子。 

除了it follows that，寫(xie) 作中還有be followed by...也可以表示跟隨的結果。
