申請費（application fee）

即申請審理費，是申請者遞交英國某大學某專(zhuan) 業(ye) 時，向學校支付的處理申請的費用。

英國大學收多少申請費是大學自己定的，依據專(zhuan) 業(ye) 的不同，收費也不同。一般來說，申請費在50-80鎊左右，但是也有部分學校申請費比較貴，比如G5院校申請費一般在100鎊以上。

大學收取申請費的原因主要有以下幾點：

（1）如果全都免費開放，那麽(me) 必然會(hui) 收到相當大數量的申請，徒增招生處審核人員的工作量，拖慢整個(ge) 申請進度；

（2）可以讓學生在投遞之前再三謹慎地思考，精心準備申請材料，不盲目海投；

（3）也可以防止學生因為(wei) 海投而拿到太多offer，最後隻選擇其中一個(ge) 學校，其他的offer所占的名額就浪費了。

另外，還請大家留意一下：

（1）選擇中介申請的小夥(huo) 伴，基本上所有的中介費用都是不包含學校申請費的；

（2）不管拿不拿到offer，申請費是不予退還的；

（3）如果你要申請同一所大學的不同專(zhuan) 業(ye) ，每個(ge) 專(zhuan) 業(ye) 都需要提交一次申請費；

（4）不是申請所有英國碩士都需要收取申請費，但幾乎所有的熱門大學和熱門專(zhuan) 業(ye) 都收申請費；

（5）申請費不是固定的，每年會(hui) 有一定的浮動（但基本都是漲價(jia) hhh）。

所以大家在遞交大學申請的時候，不要盲目地投個(ge) 遍，一定要有計劃地選擇！一來是節約花銷；二來是確保自己有限的精力放在更高質量的申請上麵。
