強烈要求MAA更換2023年AMC10/12A卷 嚴懲泄題作弊！

原本今天是一個(ge) 平常但忙碌的周日，機構的老師和同學們(men) 都在為(wei) 即將到來的AMC競賽全力以赴，老師也是如此，中午剛下課就看到了很多家長發來的“特殊”消息，AMC12泄題了，情況十分嚴(yan) 重，家長們(men) 聯合起來簽名要求MAA更換今年的A卷試題。

泄題情況

昨日周六上午，也就是11月4日10點30分左右，AMC12A試題在TMASS Academy、OMMC等國外的競賽機構、討論圈的Discord服務器以及其他一些平台上被泄露。一位@PyramidScheme的用戶將其發布國外最大的競賽社區AoPS上，並將其稱為(wei) Mock模考題，最多時有 60 個(ge) 人同時查看，且之後連續了 2 個(ge) 多小時。

此後，該試題被接近MAA的內(nei) 部人士確認為(wei) 真正試題，並很快被許多個(ge) 人以及機構通過社交平台高價(jia) 出售，傳(chuan) 播甚廣，影響非常嚴(yan) 重。

泄露的試題確定為(wei) 真

有人高價(jia) 售賣試題這對於(yu) 任何踏實學習(xi) 、勤懇努力的學生、家長以及機構都是完全不可接受的，並且今年的泄題情況極為(wei) 嚴(yan) 重，題目在考試前5天就從(cong) 美國那邊泄露出，如此之早，據我們(men) 所知到現在都還有很多參加地區和國家的官方組委會(hui) 都還沒有拿到今年的試題，傳(chuan) 播極為(wei) 廣泛，讓人震驚。

MAA官網也有針對作弊行為(wei) 的政策，輕則取消分數和該次考試資格，重則永遠不能再參加比賽，但這次事件已經超出作弊行為(wei) 的範疇，更為(wei) 惡劣。

強烈呼籲換題

據估計，目前在美國也至少有2000人已經看過試題，這已經極大地損害了AMC的公平性，現在參加AMC10或者12決(jue) 定分數線的考生也就2萬(wan) 人左右，相當於(yu) 其中的10%已經提前5天拿到了試卷，這對於(yu) 今年的分數線以及後續選拔IMO國家隊的影響已經無法預估。

國內(nei) 這個(ge) 情況可能會(hui) 更嚴(yan) 重，我們(men) 一直都被不同的夥(huo) 伴或者學生家長提醒有“老師”有機構使用泄題之類的不正當行為(wei) 幫助學生作弊，在過去的三四年裏，這些“老鼠屎”已經成功地讓中國學生的AMC成績的含金量從(cong) 晉級AIME就可以對標美國大學前30的理工科，到現在已經“人手一個(ge) ”，就算一個(ge) 中國學生拿著AMC的滿分也不見得可以打動頂尖大學的招生官了。今年AMC12的泄題隻會(hui) 讓每一個(ge) 學生的AMC成績更加沒有說服力，隻會(hui) 讓大家更卷。

為(wei) 了使這次AMC比賽公平，我們(men) 嚴(yan) 正呼籲： 

01、MAA廢除、更換本次已經泄露的AMC12A卷試題，因為(wei) AMC12和AMC10有大量重複題目，也同時廢除並更換AMC10A卷試題。同時，今年是AMC12的第75屆，也是AMC10的第25屆，懇請MAA正視、重視以及努力維護AMC的公平公正和含金量；

02、MAA采取手段在考試前對試題保密，對自己的員工和各個(ge) 合作夥(huo) 伴以及試題傳(chuan) 播鏈上的人都嚴(yan) 格控製把關(guan) ，杜絕泄題；

03、MAA盡力縮小各國考試時差，這是所有國際性考試的通病，要去盡最大努力減少可能存在的時差作弊行為(wei) 。

請讓AMC延續它的含金量，請更多的考生們(men) 才能真正享受AMC，我們(men) 的孩子們(men) 才能體(ti) 會(hui) 要付出努力才能得到應有的回報。

Dear Members of the MAA Board of Directors,I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you as a concerned parent of a student who is registered to participate in the upcoming AMC 10/12 Mathematics Competition scheduled for Nov.9.It has come to my attention that there are individuals who claim to be in possession of the AMC 10/12 exam questions and answers for this year's competition. These claims have been circulating in various student communities and forums. The availability of such sensitive information is alarming and poses a significant threat to the fairness and integrity of the competition.Given the seriousness of the situation, I kindly request that the MAA investigates these allegations promptly and takes the necessary steps to secure the exam process. I would like to urge the MAA to consider the nullification of the current Form A of the AMC 10/12 examination papers to ensure the integrity of the competition. I understand this is a significant request; however, it is essential to uphold the trust and academic fairness that the AMC competitions represent.Furthermore, I propose that the MAA consider conducting the AMC 10/12 examination online with the questions being disclosed only at the commencement of the test. This method could significantly diminish the chances of any premeditated misconduct regarding question leaks.Additionally, I hope that efforts can be made to minimize the time zone differences between countries during the examination schedule. A more synchronized global exam timeline could be instrumental in reducing the opportunities for cheating, thereby preserving the integrity of the contest. It is vital that we protect the interests of all the students who have diligently prepared for the AMC 10/12 and ensure that their hard work is not undermined by unfair practices.Thank you for your attention to this critical matter. I look forward to your response and the measures that will be taken to address this issue.
