2024 NHSDLC年度冠軍賽再升級！比賽報名火熱進行中！

今年即將迎來NHSDLC舉(ju) 辦的第十二屆年度冠軍(jun) 賽，秉承著不斷優(you) 化聯賽品質的宗旨，經組委會(hui) 認真討論，我們(men) 將從(cong) 以下幾個(ge) 方麵優(you) 化升級，2024年度冠軍(jun) 賽及今後所有賽事，給選手們(men) 帶來更好的賽事體(ti) 驗，下麵請各位同學和家長查收具體(ti) 內(nei) 容～

We will begin encouraging all judges to provide an oral decision and feedback for all rounds, in both Public Forum Debate and Junior WSD. We believe this will increase education by providing students with immediate feedback and a chance to ask questions to their judges.

Disclosure is a norm for debate in the United States. Post-round feedback will align NHSDLC tournaments with international standards and improve the quality of debates. Current tournaments in the U.S. that use disclosure include Yale, Princeton, Stanford and UPenn.

首先，最重要的一項舉(ju) 措是，我們(men) 將從(cong) 2024年暑期的年度冠軍(jun) 賽開始引入Disclosure機製。這一機製一直被廣泛應用於(yu) 許多美國著名聯賽中，包括全美總決(jue) 賽和耶魯大學、普林斯頓大學、斯坦福大學、賓夕法尼亞(ya) 大學等高校舉(ju) 辦的邀請賽中。

具體(ti) 體(ti) 現為(wei) ，我們(men) 將鼓勵所有裁判在PF和Junior WSD的比賽中，對所有比賽做出口頭裁決(jue) 和反饋。這將為(wei) 選手提供即時反饋和向裁判提問的機會(hui) ，從(cong) 而能讓選手們(men) 更快地發現問題並調整，提升賽場表現。相信這一全新舉(ju) 措將使NHSDLC賽事與(yu) 國際標準接軌，並提高辯論質量。

This semester we also introducedmutual preference judging.To the best of our knowledge, we are the only debate league in China that regularly allows students to rank their judges, and then using the ratings in placement of judges. Students wanted the choice, and we gave it to them.

The biggest problem with MPJ is that few teams actually submit ratings! As an example, the weekend of the Online VII and Guangzhou tournaments, a total of 1 team from BOTH tournaments turned in ratings. Only 1 team out of 49 took advantage of the opportunity to rank their judges.

NHSDLC組委會(hui) 自2024冬季邀請賽開始，在比賽中引入了MPJ (Mutual Preference Judging) 機製。

但在春季常規賽過程中，我們(men) 發現提交評分的隊伍較少。在此，組委會(hui) 鼓勵廣大選手在今後賽事中加強對MPJ機製的使用。

*MPJ評分方法：

各位報名成功的選手將於(yu) 賽前在報名郵箱中收到比賽通知郵件，隨郵件附上了MPJ機製的說明及裁判名單，選手們(men) 可按照郵件中的說明指示進行後續操作。

In addition, this summer we will require all judges to complete certification from the National Speech and Debate Association for the event they judge. In order to judge Public Forum Debate tournaments, they must have specific certification for PF. For Junior WSD, judges must have certification in World Schools Debate. Our hope is that the certification will raise the floor for all our judges a little bit higher.

NHSDLC聯賽裁判將通過專(zhuan) 業(ye) 認證考核，才能被予以錄用。例如，擔任公共論壇式辯論賽事的裁判，必須持有專(zhuan) 門的PF證書(shu) ；就Junior WSD賽事而言，裁判則必須獲得世界學校辯論賽 (World School Debate) 的認證。我們(men) 將要求所有裁判完成對其所裁決(jue) 賽事的認證，進一步提升裁判水準。

報名資格

選手需滿足以下至少一項條件，方可報名參賽：

1. 在地區賽或線上聯賽中晉級淘汰賽的選手；

2. 參加2022/2023年度冠軍(jun) 賽的選手 (PF/PS)；參加2023年度冠軍(jun) 賽的選手 (JWSD)；

3. 在各大JWSD邀請賽中晉級的選手 (JWSD) ；

4. 參加訓練營的選手；

5. 優(you) 秀選手可獨立申請報名 (需由組委會(hui) 審核決(jue) 定)

注意事項

1. 組別設置中:

初中組隻對9年級及以下的學生開放；

公開組/高中組麵向12年級及以下的所有學生；

青少年世界學校辯論針對7-13周歲選手開放。

2. NHSDLC年度冠軍(jun) 賽為(wei) 全國性賽事，參賽辯手的學校類型和國籍將不會(hui) 對報名參賽的組別產(chan) 生影響。

比賽時間：2024年8月17-19日（具體(ti) 賽程待公布）

比賽方式：線上參賽，采用“騰訊會(hui) 議”進行
