一是學生在學習(xi) 提升的過程中需要老師教授已有的知識，知識本身是不會(hui) 突然出現在腦海中的，而是需要通過學習(xi) 來掌握，即使能力強的學生也會(hui) 需要。並且好老師能將知識講的淺顯易懂，幫助學生更快吸收。

二是有學生在一開始並不一定清楚自己哪個(ge) 學術領域更具有天賦和能力，而好的教育能夠幫助學生開發興(xing) 趣愛好、尋找自己擅長的領域，並鼓勵其進行更加深入的研究和探索。

三是一個(ge) 人即使有天賦，外部環境的好壞對於(yu) 其學習(xi) 依然有很大的影響。糟糕的教育環境很可能會(hui) 使得一個(ge) 人不認真學習(xi) 甚至厭惡學習(xi) ，導致其天賦能力被白白浪費。

It is universally acknowledged that among all the contributing factors to academic success, good teaching is oftentimes considered more essential than personal ability. From my perspective, given that innate potential can hardly be changed, good teaching is a more prominent determiner of one’s academic excellence.

It may be argued that individual ability determines to what extent one can achieve. Since everyone is born with different levels of innate talent, some students may find it easier to concentrate on academic study and comprehend abstract conceptions and ideas, while others who lack the requisite natural ability and interest in academic study can hardly achieve excellence. Therefore, even in the same educational setting, only those who possess the abilities necessary for learning and researching would achieve the desired success.

However, good teaching tends to bring out the best in a person regardless of his or her abilities. On the one hand, schools and teachers play a pivotal role in discovering an individual’s talent and strength. Without a qualified instructor who is competent in simplifying the concepts and elaborating them for students, it would be difficult, or even to the point of impossibility, for any learner to comprehend the learning materials by themselves, no matter how talented they are. Moreover, school attendants are doomed to benefit a lot from a skilled teacher’s cultivation of an ever-lasting curiosesity and interest in academic study. On the other hand, a student’s gift of genius would be regretfully wasted if one’s family fails to provide a positive learning environment where the surroundings including family environment, friends and relatives tend to have a huge impact on one’s attitude towards learning.

In conclusion, though individual ability cannot be underestimated in academic study, I still believe that good teaching has the power to change one’s destiny and lead to academic success.
