The debate over whether historical artifacts housed in museums should be returned to their countries of origin has gained increasing attention in recent years. While there are compelling arguments on both sides, I firmly believe that such objects should indeed be repatriated, as it fosters cultural pride, and justice.

For example, the Benin Bronzes in the British Museum symbolize a rich African history that was interrupted by colonial exploitation. Allowing these countries to reclaim their heritage helps restore a sense of dignity and ownership over their past, contributing to national unity and pride.
