SAT閱讀考試正確答案特點分析

其實是和所有能力類考試的出題特點是一樣的。

第一前置原則是答案一定來自於(yu) 原文。

雖然是考察作者主觀態度的考試，但是答案不是主觀的，“不是一千個(ge) 讀者有一千個(ge) 哈姆雷特。”

隻是一個(ge) 閱讀考試簡單和難的分界點就是選項和原文之間同義(yi) 替代的直接性。

語言類的考試，比如IELTS 會(hui) 有同學覺得定位到了就一定能做對，甚至沒怎麽(me) 讀懂題目也能做對。這是出題機構從(cong) 三個(ge) 方向降低了閱讀題目的難度

1.  原文定位很容易

2.  正確答案和原文的重複比較直接

3.  錯誤答案和原文（正確答案）的區分度很高

以此取反，一個(ge) 閱讀難題可以從(cong) 以下幾個(ge) 方麵去製造

1. 定位比較費時間

2. 正確答案和原文不是簡單的同義(yi) 替代，是廣義(yi) 的重複（這個(ge) 此推送會(hui) 介紹下）

3. 錯誤答案和正確答案有一定的混淆度

而能力類型的考試（SAT/ACT/GRE/GMAT/LSAT） 的閱讀部分的標配是上麵的1&2。至於(yu) 第3個(ge) 隻有是遇到難題的時候才會(hui) 覺得確實有迷惑選項，大多數的題目用排除法還是可以非常自信的選對答案的。

定位的部分之前講解過了

下麵要說的是SAT 的閱讀設計裏麵原文和答案之間是如果做paraphrase 的 [例子出自近期北美卷]

第一種也是相對容易的一種：  

答案是原文的同義(yi) 替代

題目：According to the passage, turning on all of the lights in the apartment reveals that

原文定位：I turned on all the lights in the apartment. Still, it didn’t feel bright. The walls were beige, painted by the previous owner. There were drawings by a childish hand, friendly like. And a faint footprint. A couple of mosquito corpses. At this point, the doorbell rang.

答案：there is evidence of the lives of previous tenants.

第二種情況：答案是原文的廣義(yi) 的替代

題目 The passage indicates that the use of Solanum tuberosum DNA allowed the researchers to

原文  To fine-tune the expression of the H-protein, the team engineered the tobacco using DNA from a close relative, Solanum tuberosum, or potato.  Using a known sequence of potato DNA, we were able to boost the H-protein specifically in the desired leaf tissue.  

答案  localize increased production of H-protein to an area that is most beneficial in the tobacco plant.  

首先boost specially 和 localize increased production 是同義(yi) 替代

其次in the desired leaf tissue 和 to an area that is most beneficial in the tobacco plant 是個(ge) 廣義(yi) 的替代，原文相對籠統些，選項具體(ti) 表達了出來

第三種情況：答案是對於(yu) 原文內(nei) 容的取反  

【這個(ge) 要求我們(men) 在閱讀原文的時候要特別注意“對比”的內(nei) 容】

題目 Based on the passage, it can be reasonably inferred that compared to the narrator’s new neighborhood, Huangpu West is characterized by

原文 “This place is different from Huangpu West,” she said. “You hardly ever see anybody, and it might take some getting used to.”

答案： more opportunities to interact with people.  

另外一個(ge) 反著出的例子 

題目 Which statement about the production of toxins resulting from Rubisco’s conversion of oxygen in certain crop plants is best supported by the passage?

原文

At higher temperatures, plants tend to increase the amount of oxygen they convert, so as growing season temperatures rise and heat waves strike, up to 50 percent of the energy generated from photosynthesis can be required for photorespiration to recycle toxins in major crops like wheat and soybeans.

答案  As environmental temperatures decrease, the amount of the toxins produced in the plants decreases.

類似原文中讀到變大，變小的時候，也可以預判下題目會(hui) 反著考。
