The once sharp distinctions between countries around the world are gradually evaporating, since the global economic development makes it possible to get commodities from every corner on the earth. While the benefits could be considered during the process, I would argue that the drawbacks of this are even more overwhelming.

Clearly, the merits generated, when countries are less distinguished than before, are obvious, since people would, initially, enjoy a globally standard service or product. Consumers would no longer bother with the computers they have bought abroad, for example, not being fixed if they go back to their own nationalities, as the branches of the electronic brands would have already stretched into most of the major cities in every country. This also lowers the barriers in the communication overseas. The shared means of life gives rise to the increasing understandings between individuals in different nations, leading to the time-saving conversations, efficiency of interchanges as well as better co-operations during the process.

Whereas the damaging impacts appear simultaneously despite the advantages emerging in the similarity between cultural groups. Admittedly, the same life style brings about the same commercial feelings everywhere, while it is at the price of the diversity of the commerce merging itself into the unification, gradually losing its regional characteristics. People would, say, be increasingly hard to purchase their traditional costumes when the clothing market in their countries are closely getting in touch with the international fashion.
