其次，對於(yu) 一個(ge) 國家或地區來說，其當下的許多理念、行為(wei) 模式並不是一蹴而就的，而是隨著時間推移不斷演變而來。如果想要更好的了解其背後邏輯，或是妥善處理不同國家地區之間的問題，勢必需要對曆史有所研究和了解，進而得出更加適合的處理辦法。

To some, it is undeniable that the past may seem irrelevant to our everyday lives as we cannot see any instant value brought by this field. However, I believe that studying history is necessary because it can help us better comprehend the present.

Those who question the necessity of knowing one's history are typically preoccupied with the present. In today's society, which has been fundamentally transformed by technological and scientific advancements, history appears to have no applicability. History research, on the other hand, has less tangible and sometimes less immediate results than research in other fields, even though learning from the past is very important and useful.

However, in my opinion, history influences both the present and the future. In an effort to gain a deeper understanding of a subject, we may look for previous factors associated with it. Occasionally, the most recent history is sufficient to explain a significant change, but more often than not, we must look further back in time to identify its causes and take lessons from that. In addition, history provides an abundance of information about the behavior of individuals and societies throughout time. It would be counterproductive for us to exclusively consider the most recent information. For instance, we cannot assess the impact of war on peaceful societies if we never use historical materials. In addition, sociologists always need to use historical and other data to develop human behavior theories and laws.

This is the fundamental reason why history cannot be disregarded. It gives evidence that can be used to analyze and think about the world as it is now and to predict what will happen in the future.
