加拿大哪些學校及專業需要寫文書？文書都要寫什麽？

加拿大2023入學申請已經開始，很多同學們(men) 已經開始或者準備完成網申的遞交。與(yu) 英美相比，加拿大的申請稍微簡單一些，本科隻有部分專(zhuan) 業(ye) 需要提交文書(shu) 或者進行麵試。

那麽(me) 加拿大哪些學校及專(zhuan) 業(ye) 需要寫(xie) 文書(shu) ？文書(shu) 都要寫(xie) 什麽(me) ？有哪些注意事項？今天我們(men) 就來一起看一下吧。

哪些專(zhuan) 業(ye) 需要提交文書(shu)

加拿大本科申請不是每個(ge) 學校和每個(ge) 專(zhuan) 業(ye) 都要寫(xie) 文書(shu) 的，有沒有文書(shu) 要看申請學校和專(zhuan) 業(ye) 。有文書(shu) 的學校和專(zhuan) 業(ye) ，文書(shu) 也有不同的要求。

我們(men) 去年UT和UBC雙收的學生也提到了文書(shu) 是申請過程中的一座大山。

具體(ti) 來說，學生常申請的需要提交文書(shu) 的學校和專(zhuan) 業(ye) 如下：

多大商學院，CS專(zhuan) 業(ye) ，世嘉堡校區CS/BBA工商管理及Co-op專(zhuan) 業(ye) ；

UBC所有專(zhuan) 業(ye)

滑鐵盧大學所有專(zhuan) 業(ye) AIF（包括雙學位）

維多利亞(ya) 大學商科

康考迪亞(ya) 大學相關(guan) 專(zhuan) 業(ye)

勞裏埃大學雙學位

皇後大學所有專(zhuan) 業(ye) （非強製）及商學院

西安大略大學商學院AEO

文書(shu) 長度多少

加拿大大學的申請文書(shu) 一般叫做Supplementary Application，可以理解為(wei) 補充文書(shu) 。

每個(ge) 學校根據申請專(zhuan) 業(ye) 的需要設定數量不等、長度不同的文書(shu) 題目。一般一篇文書(shu) 的長度在100-350words；也有極其特殊的專(zhuan) 業(ye) 需要500-600words，比如麥吉爾大學的教育學專(zhuan) 業(ye) 。

加拿大文書(shu) 類型

加拿大申請中有5類文書(shu) ：

1、活動類

2、重點活動描述類

3、專(zhuan) 業(ye) 及目標類

4、個(ge) 人成長類

5、關(guan) 於(yu) 受疫情/醫療/經濟等影響而需要額外補充說明類

下麵我們(men) 來分別舉(ju) 例介紹。

活動類文書(shu)

寫(xie) 這類文書(shu) 需要學生提前整理好自己的活動記錄及獲獎經曆。

如UBC 要求列出：

activities and accomplishments

Describe five activities that you have pursued. Outline the nature of your responsibilities within these activities.  Club, family/community, volunteer, service to others.

請描述你的活動及獲獎經曆（選取最重要的5個(ge) 來寫(xie) ）

重點活動描述類

該類文書(shu) 需要重點說明某一或兩(liang) 項對你影響深遠的活動。

如UBC:

Tell us more about one or two activities listed above that are most important to you.Please explain the role you played and what learned in the process.You will be asked for a reference who  can speak to your response.

告訴我們(men) 更多關(guan) 於(yu) 上麵列出的對你來說最重要的一兩(liang) 個(ge) 活動。請解釋一下你扮演的角色以及你在這個(ge) 過程中學到了什麽(me) 。需提供可證明你參與(yu) 以上活動的推薦人一名。

We live in a global and diverse society. Explain how your community involvement prepares you for the future in this complex world.

我們(men) 生活在一個(ge) 全球化及多樣性的社會(hui) ，解釋你對社區活動的參與(yu) 如何能讓你在未來這個(ge) 複雜的世界自由應對。

UT Engineering:

Reflecting on the activities that you have described above, what qualities do you believe that you have developed through your participation in these activities? How do you think they may have helped to prepare you for U of T Engineering?

對你上麵描述的活動進行反思，你認為(wei) 你通過參加這些活動培養(yang) 了哪些素質？你認為(wei) 這些活動是如何幫助你為(wei) UT大學工程學院做準備的？

專(zhuan) 業(ye) 及目標類

該類文書(shu) 需要學生回答為(wei) 什麽(me) 要選擇某個(ge) 專(zhuan) 業(ye) 或者學校。

如UBC要求列出：

You may wish to use the space below to provide UBC with more information on your academic history to date and/or your future academic plans. For example: How did you choose your courses in secondary school? Are there life circumstances that have affected your academic decisions to date? What have you done to prepare yourself specifically for your intended area of study at UBC?

選擇專(zhuan) 業(ye) 和滑鐵盧的原因（*必填） 請告訴我們(men) 你的學習(xi) 目標，你對所選專(zhuan) 業(ye) 的興(xing) 趣，以及你申請滑鐵盧大學的原因。如果你申請的專(zhuan) 業(ye) 不止一個(ge) ，請談談你對每個(ge) 專(zhuan) 業(ye) 的興(xing) 趣。  (900字限製)

個(ge) 人成長經曆類

這類文書(shu) 要求學生講自己的故事，分享人生體(ti) 驗。

UT CS:

Describe a situation you witnessed, or were involved in, where someone was treated unfairly or discriminated against. How did you respond, and would you do anything differently if that situation occurred again?

描述你目睹或參與(yu) 的某人受到不公平待遇或歧視的情況。你是如何應對的，如果這種情況再次發生，你會(hui) 采取什麽(me) 不同的做法嗎？

UBC:

1、Tell us about who you are. How would your family, friends, and/or members of your community describe you? If possible, please include something about yourself that you are most proud of and why. 告訴我們(men) 你是誰。你的家人、朋友和/或社區成員如何描述你?如果可能的話，請寫(xie) 一些你最自豪的事情和原因。

2、What is important to you? Why? 什麽(me) 對你來說是最重要的，為(wei) 什麽(me) ？

關(guan) 於(yu) 受疫情/醫療/經濟等影響 而需要額外補充說明類

UT Engineering:

Feel free to comment on how your community engagement may have been different than expected as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.

評價(jia) 一下由於(yu) COVID-19大流行你的社區活躍度有何不同。

UBC:

Give us an example of how the pandemic has changed your involvement in the community or group most important to you? What have you learned from this experience?

Waterloo:

Are there any issues or circumstances(eg.medical ,personal or financial) that may have affected your academic record? If yes, please describe the circumstance in detail below. We are particularly interested in issue of circumstances that directly affected your academic performance and that led to a rise or drop in grades or to changes in your academic or personal goals.

文書(shu) 寫(xie) 作注意事項

構思創意

一個(ge) 好的文書(shu) ，注定離不開好的創意，我們(men) 在下筆之前，要整體(ti) 把握一下自己的個(ge) 人特點和優(you) 勢，並以此為(wei) 基礎，構思出整篇文書(shu) 的獨特創意之處。

列出大綱

寫(xie) 作之前，先列大綱是一個(ge) 非常好的習(xi) 慣，根據我們(men) 大綱中想好的點進行延伸寫(xie) 作，使文書(shu) 更充實，且符合邏輯。

內(nei) 容充實，注意字數

在文書(shu) 寫(xie) 作中，我們(men) 要避免陳述過於(yu) 泛泛化，主次搭配，並且字數控製在學校要求的範圍內(nei) 。

多次檢查，尋求意見
