Professor Sarah Street

研究興(xing) 趣：

My main areas of research activity are British cinema history and the contemporary film industry; the politics and economics of the film industry; British film genres; aspects of costume and cinema, including work on Hitchcock, mise-en-scène, set design and colour film.

Dr Alex Clayton

研究興(xing) 趣：

My work principally focuses on film and television comedy, aesthetics, and screen performance. I am especially interested in the challenges of criticism in seeking to account for the detail of experience with regard to individual works of film and television.

Dr Kristian Moen

My research focuses on animation, film history and theory, intermediality, and the relationship between cinema and modernity.

Dr Pete Falconer

My research interests revolve around the forms and genres of popular cinema. I am also interested in other popular film genres, Hollywood cinema more broadly, film criticism, film music, popular music, film violence and issues relating to film censorship

Dr Helen Piper
