今天要向大家介紹的這門寫(xie) 作競賽，算得上是年末不錯的寫(xie) 作競賽。

它就是哈佛國際評論學術寫(xie) 作競賽 (Harvard International Review Academic Writing Contest) ，簡稱 HIR 。

HIR 寫(xie) 作競賽由《哈佛國際評論》期刊發起，這份期刊專(zhuan) 注於(yu) 刊登與(yu) 國際事務方麵相關(guan) 的內(nei) 容，已收錄的作者包括各國總統與(yu) 首相，聯合國秘書(shu) 長，諾貝爾獎獲得者。

比賽年度主題

"There is no Planet B"

從(cong) 比賽組委會(hui) 的描述來看，今年參賽選手的寫(xie) 作主題需要與(yu) 可持續 (sustainability) 有關(guan) ，因為(wei) 我們(men) 沒有第二個(ge) 地球：

The doomsday clock has never been closer to midnight. With a continuously deteriorating global environment, fears of nuclear and non-nuclear proliferation, civil wars that threaten to break societies apart, and the rapid spread of disinformation, our planet today faces increasingly modern threats in a time of complex global evolution. Yet governmental and non-governmental groups around the world continue to advocate for a more sustainable and more peaceful world, committed to maintaining a planet earth inhabitable for all. Articles for this theme should discuss modern global sustainability issues of all kinds facing national and international societies, explaining their timely importance in today's global world.

參賽須知

年齡：9 - 12 年級的高中生

字數：800 - 1200 字

語種：英文

體(ti) 裁：說明文（千萬(wan) 別寫(xie) 成議論文），你可以想象自己是一家智庫的分析師，在給 policy makers 寫(xie) 報告，報告的目的是 expose an underappreciated issue

截稿日期（秋冬賽）：2023/1/2；答辯日期：2023/2/5（春季與(yu) 夏季賽已截稿，這是今年參加這門競賽的最後機會(hui) ），注意，截稿日期不等於(yu) 報名截止日期，報名截止日期為(wei) 11 月 15 日（但參賽名額有限，有可能會(hui) 提前截止）。

獎項設置

所有參賽的選手作品，都將獲得 HIR 評定的分數等級。選手將競逐如下獎項。

嘉獎：HIR 嘉獎獲獎證書(shu)

決(jue) 賽圈獎項：

銅獎：HIR 銅獎獲獎證書(shu) 、網站上提名

銀獎：HIR 銀獎獲獎證書(shu) 、網站上提名、獲得 1 年 HIR 紙質版訂閱

金獎：HIR 金獎獲獎證書(shu) 、獲獎作品及參賽者姓名公布於(yu) 官網、獲得 2 年 HIR 紙質版訂閱
