實驗題如何區分“valid”和“reliable”?

“valid”和“reliable”是形容詞，名詞是“validity”和“reliability”。很多同學容易搞混，分不清它們(men) 兩(liang) 個(ge) 。

而且不管是IGCSE, IAL的科學；還是MYP評估, DP的internal assessment；甚至VCE的其中一個(ge) SAC(EPI實驗)都需要對這兩(liang) 個(ge) 概念理解非常透徹。

這裏不展開，隻是教大家一個(ge) “速成”的方法，能夠區分這兩(liang) 個(ge) ，做題的時候能做對，寫(xie) report的時候能夠運用即可。

1. Reliable ====>>>>> repeat

Repeatable: each time the experiment is repeated(by you),

Reproducible: each time the experiment is reproduced by other scientists.

換句話來說，如果你做到了repeat and calculate the mean，那可以說這個(ge) 實驗reliable的；

2. Valid ====>>>>> Control Variable

也就是說，如果你這個(ge) 實驗設置了control variable，那你這個(ge) 實驗是valid；

To get valid results you need to control all the variables to make sure you’re only testing the thing you want to
