英美文學研讀課必讀書之《哈利·波特與密室》

大家期待的哈利波特係列第二本《哈利·波特與(yu) 密室》上線啦！

《哈利·波特與(yu) 密室》獲得了多項獎項：

這部小說獲得了英國年度兒(er) 童圖書(shu) 獎，並入圍了1998年《衛報》兒(er) 童圖書(shu) 獎和1998年卡內(nei) 基獎。

1999年，被Booklist選為(wei) 十大青少年奇幻小說之一。

1999年，蘇格蘭(lan) 藝術委員會(hui) 將第一個(ge) 兒(er) 童圖書(shu) 獎頒給了這部小說，並在2001年授予了惠特克白金圖書(shu) 獎。

被美國圖書(shu) 館協會(hui) 列為(wei) 2000年最著名的兒(er) 童讀物，同時也被列為(wei) 青少年最佳讀物。

關(guan) 於(yu) 爭(zheng) 論：

盡管羅琳說她覺得這本書(shu) 很難讀完，但它贏得了評論家、年輕讀者和圖書(shu) 業(ye) 的高度讚揚和獎項。

《哈利·波特與(yu) 密室》還引發了宗教爭(zheng) 論：一些宗教權威譴責它過度使用了魔法主題，而另一些則稱讚它強調自我犧牲，以及一個(ge) 人的性格是一個(ge) 人選擇的結果。

《哈利·波特與(yu) 密室》還是第一部涉及巫師界逐漸蔓延的“有害偏見”的書(shu) ，這種偏見最終使黑巫師伏地魔重新掌權。

伏地魔的形象被拿來和希特勒這樣的曆史人物作比較，後者利用種族主義(yi) 意識形態獲得支持並實現他們(men) 的目標。

希特勒利用德國已經猖獗的反猶太主義(yi) 將猶太人視為(wei) 次等人，並迫害他們(men) 。他還將德國人提升為(wei) 唯一真正的人類，認為(wei) 他們(men) 具有“種族純潔性”。

伏地魔利用巫師界中已經潛伏的偏見，比如馬爾福家族，來獲得支持和權力，就像希特勒和其他像他一樣的人所做的那樣。

哈利波特與(yu) 密室內(nei) 容介紹：

哈利在魔法學校上到了二年級，他、羅恩和赫敏知道了霍格沃茨有一間密室，那是斯萊特林留下來的。

當格蘭(lan) 芬多、赫奇帕奇、拉文克勞三個(ge) 學院的學生被石化了幾個(ge) 人，而斯萊特林學院的學生卻沒被石化的時候，大家都知道這個(ge) 惡作劇來自斯萊特林的學生。

有人認為(wei) 斯萊特林的學生打開了密室才發生了人被石化的事情。

隨之，又有一個(ge) 關(guan) 於(yu) 密室的壞消息傳(chuan) 來了：羅恩的妹妹金妮被伏地魔抓到密室裏，並且有生命危險。哈利和羅恩聽了，十分著急，那麽(me) 隻有把密室打開，製服伏地魔，才可以拯救所有的人。

最終哈利憑著智慧和勇氣打敗了伏地魔，順利地救出金妮。

課程共計23課時（1小時/課時），每個(ge) 課時包含核心教學目標、核心詞匯、課堂討論、課後作業(ye) 這幾個(ge) 部分。老師在課堂上會(hui) 以圖例、表格等形式進行教學指導。

核心目標：參考文章中的細節和例子來解釋文章的意義(yi) ，並根據文章內(nei) 容對情節發展做出推理。

第二課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 2

核心目標：根據文本中的細節確定故事、戲劇或詩歌的主題; 總結本章故事。

核心目標：利用具體(ti) 細節(例如，人物的思想、言語或行為(wei) ) 深入地描述一個(ge) 故事、人物、背景或事件。

Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text, including those that allude to significant characters found in mythology

第五課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 5

核心目標：根據既往積累的閱讀經驗，利用各種方法推斷出或確定某些未知的、多義(yi) 的單詞和短語的意義(yi) 。

Determine or clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning words and phrases based on grade 4 reading and content, choosing flexibly from a range of strategies.

第六課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 6

核心目標：學習(xi) 理解修辭手法、詞語關(guan) 係和詞語意義(yi) 的細微差別。

Demonstrate understanding of figurative language, word relationships, and nuances in word meanings.

第七課時

內(nei) 容：總結Chapter1-6

核心閱讀技能訓練：指導學生理解故事發生的時間、地點、環境等客觀因素與(yu) 人物情緒、感覺等主觀體(ti) 驗之間的關(guan) 係。

第八課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 7

核心目標：借鑒書(shu) 中的具體(ti) 細節(例如，人物如何互動)，比較和對照故事(或戲劇）中兩(liang) 個(ge) 或兩(liang) 個(ge) 以上的人物、背景或事件。

Compare and contrast two or more characters, settings, or events in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text (e.g., how characters interact).

第九課時

核心目標：分析一個(ge) 特定的句子、章節、場景或情節是如何融入故事的整體(ti) 結構，並推動主題、背景或整體(ti) 情節的發展的。

Analyze how a particular sentence, chapter, scene, or stanza fits into the overall structure of a text and contributes to the development of the theme, setting, or plot.

核心目標：準確掌握和使用與(yu) 年級相符的某些專(zhuan) 業(ye) 性詞匯及短語;通過搜集詞匯相關(guan) 知識，加強對重要單詞或短語的理解。

Acquire and use accurately grade-appropriate general academic and domain-specific words and phrases; gather vocabulary knowledge when considering a word or phrase important to comprehension or expression.

內(nei) 容：Chapter 10

核心目標：分析作者是如何發展和對比文中不同人物或敘述者的觀點的。

Analyze how an author develops and contrasts the points of view of different characters or narrators in a text.

第十二課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 11

核心目標：積極有效地參與(yu) 基於(yu) 不同主題、內(nei) 容或問題的各種討論 (一對一、小組討論和教師指導的討論)。培養(yang) 在他人觀點的基礎上，清楚表達自己觀點的能力。

Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on grade 7 topics, texts, and issues, building on others' ideas and expressing their own clearly.

核心目標：利用所有字母-發音對應關(guan) 係、音節模式及詞法(如詞根和詞綴)知識，根據上下文或者脫離上下文，準確閱讀不熟悉的多音節單詞。

Use combined knowledge of all letter-sound correspondences, syllabication patterns, and morphology (e.g., roots and affixes) to read accurately unfamiliar multisyllabic words in context and out of context.

核心目標：陳述觀點和發現，能有邏輯地排列觀點；能使用相關(guan) 的描述、事實和細節來強調主要觀點或主題; 發言時能適當使用眼神交流，使用適當的音量，清晰發音。

Present claims and findings, sequencing ideas logically and using pertinent descriptions, facts, and details to accentuate main ideas or themes; use appropriate eye contact, adequate volume, and clear pronunciation.

核心閱讀技能訓練：指導學生理解各種修辭手法，包括比喻、類比、擬人、誇張等等。

第十六課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 14

核心目標：使用多媒體(ti) 組件(如，圖形、圖像、音樂(le) 、聲音等）幫助闡明信息。

Include multimedia components (e.g., graphics, images, music, sound) and visual displays in presentations to clarify information.

第十七課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 15

核心目標：使用特定單詞之間的關(guan) 係(例如，同義(yi) 詞/反義(yi) 詞，類比等)來更好地理解每個(ge) 單詞。

Use the relationship between particular words (e.g., synonym/antonym, analogy) to better understand each of the words.

核心目標：分析以各種媒體(ti) 和形式(如視覺、數量、口頭)呈現出的主要觀點和輔助細節，並解釋這些觀點是如何闡明一個(ge) 主題、文章或研究的問題的 。

Analyze the main ideas and supporting details presented in diverse media and formats (e.g., visually, quantitatively, orally) and explain how the ideas clarify a topic, text, or issue under study.

第二十課時

內(nei) 容：Chapter 18

核心目標：根據不同的情形和目的，編輯裁剪發言內(nei) 容。

Adapt speech to a variety of contexts and tasks, demonstrating command of formal English when indicated or appropriate.

核心閱讀技能訓練：指導學生區別形象刻畫豐(feng) 滿立體(ti) 的人物（round character）和形象刻畫簡單平淡的人物（flat character）；布置寫(xie) 作任務：寫(xie) 一篇讀後感。
