圓滿落幕

2022年第十四屆麻省理工學院模擬聯合國國際峰會(hui) 在2月5日-2月7日圓滿舉(ju) 辦。本屆國際峰會(hui) 全麵采用線上形式進行，共設置六大委員會(hui) ，分別為(wei) 聯合國裁軍(jun) 和國際安全委員會(hui) DISEC、社會(hui) 、文化和人道主義(yi) 委員會(hui) SOCHUM、世界衛生組織WHO、曆史委員會(hui) HC、安全理事會(hui) SC、危機委員會(hui) Crisis。代表們(men) 克服國際峰會(hui) 時差，順利完成了五個(ge) 會(hui) 期，和來自世界各地的模聯人分享觀點、交流磋商、組建bloc、撰寫(xie) 工作文件、並通過投票表決(jue) 。

本次參會(hui) 代表中，不乏第一次參加國際峰會(hui) 的代表，但在會(hui) 期中，代表們(men) 依然表現出了積極發言的態度，不畏艱難，認真傾(qing) 聽的同時，積極提出代表國家的立場及磋商策略。

模擬聯合國的本質不是教會(hui) 我們(men) 和別人競爭(zheng) ，而是如何去吸引不同的人和我們(men) 合作，和不同文化背景的人交換觀點。同時，模擬聯合國也是會(hui) 期時那個(ge) 緊張發抖的自己，鼓起勇氣一次次舉(ju) 起國家牌，勇敢發出自己的聲音，也是麵對質疑和失敗時，不斷走出舒適區的那個(ge) 越來越優(you) 秀的自己！我們(men) 為(wei) 所有努力的代表感到驕傲！

此次麻省理工學院模聯還特別設置有趣的Delegate Game Night環節，部分委員會(hui) 和代表們(men) 進行了有趣的FUN MUN環節，讓模聯人在緊張的會(hui) 議中享受模聯獨特的樂(le) 趣。

-代表感言-

"At the end, the president shared with us about MIT campus life，it inspired me and made me aspire to MIT."

"For the most part, the conference was amazing, and I got to meet a lot of other delegates from other countries. And I also got to meet a delegate that I met before in other ASDAN activities."

"The memorable moment for me is the roll call of passing draft resolution. The draft resolution is made by our bloc. So when the draft resolution passed, I felt really proud. It gave me confidence to continue finishing the whole activity."

Why do you choose to join MUN?

"The reason I choose MUN is to improve my English in a way that I have not tried. I have entered some English speeches. In MUN we will discuss some topics about world current events and problems, that requires us to totally understand the topics and have an adequate preparation. It helps me think about things in different ways and trains my ability to summarize. I hope I will have more chances to be one of the delegates of the MUN."

"I am very interested in this project and it can give me a background improvement. What attracts me most is to discuss problems with foreign friends and present a result. I also make foreign friends."

Are there any suggestions you have for new delegates?

"Just try and ask. MUN is an inclusive and open activity. Join it!"

"Everyone should try to participate in this activity, I think I gained a lot. We got to know people from different regions, and we worked together on papers and ideas."

"There are a lot of experienced representatives here who can give you a lot of room to learn."

"Being a delegate is a good way to practice our English and we can also learn a lot from it. It will be a bit challenging at first, but I think you can go through any difficulties by yourself. Good luck!"
