2023年YYGS耶魯大學頂級夏校申請開放！

耶魯全球青年學者計劃 Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) 已經正式開放申請通道。今天，機構就給大家介紹一下這個(ge) 遠近聞名的頂級夏校項目吧！

什麽(me) 是 YYGS

耶魯全球青年學者計劃（Yale Young Global Scholars，簡稱 YYGS），是一項針對高中學生的學術發展計劃，項目時長兩(liang) 周。從(cong) 2001 年起，每年招收來自世界各地 150 個(ge) 國家和地區的優(you) 秀高中生，在跨學科的學術環境中培養(yang) 他們(men) 的領導力。

板塊介紹（Sessions）

2023 年 YYGS 共開放了四個(ge) 板塊和三個(ge) 時間段：

科技創新（IST)

Innovations in Science & Technology

文學哲學與(yu) 文化（LPC)

Literature, Philosophy, & Culture

政治法律與(yu) 經濟（PLE)

Politics, Law, & Economics

應對全球化挑戰（SGC)

Solving Global Challenges

申請者可以在提交申請時按照意願高低選擇上述四個(ge) 板塊主題。今年的 YYGS 將 12 個(ge) session 劃分到了 三個(ge) 時間段。從(cong) 下圖中我們(men) 可以看到，三場線下時間段分別為(wei) 6 月 18 日 - 6 月 30 日，7 月 2 日 - 7 月 14 日以及 7 月 16 日 - 7 月 28 日。

申請截止日期

YYGS 采用滾動申請（rolling admission），提早申請（Early Action）截止時間為(wei) 2022 年 11 月 2 日，申請結果將在 2022 年 11 月 20 日 發放完畢。

常規申請（Regular Decision）截止時間為(wei) 2023 年 1 月 10 日，申請結果將在 2023 年 3 月 10 日 發放完畢。

提早申請（Early Action）

常規申請（Regular Decision）

為(wei) 保證公平性，隻有同一輪次的申請都完成審核後才會(hui) 通知申請結果。

申請材料

申請 YYGS 需要的材料如下：

1. 高中活動記錄
2. 一篇 400 詞的文書
3. 一篇 200 詞的簡答
4. 兩篇 280 字符的 fast take 回答
5. 官方成績單
6. 一封推薦信
7. 申請費（提早申請 60 美元，常規申請 75 美元）
8. 國際生需要托福或者多鄰國成績
9. 需要申請助學金的同學要提供申請材料
10. 助學金申請表（可選）

考慮到部分申請人可能無法提交官方成績單，YYGS 也給出了兩(liang) 種解決(jue) 方案。

1. 申請人在 YYGS 申請中填寫 Education Part I，由 YYGS 向學校發送鏈接，再由校方提供成績單。
2. 申請人在 YYGS 申請中填寫 Education Part II，並上傳成績單截圖或照片。

當然，這其中最重要的還是文書(shu) 與(yu) 推薦信，官方對此也直言不諱。
